Rails Rumble 08 - our site is up!

Rails Rumble 2008 weekend competition is just wrapping up - 200 teams from around the globe competing to see who could build the best, most useful, most unique, most beautiful website in 48 hours, in Ruby on Rails. I competed in the competition with Benjamin Jørgensen from Denmark. We built a website called Comical that is for comic fans and comic artists. Artists can sign up and post their own comic creations…. Our efforts were slowed down a bit when Ben’s computer essentially died Sunday afternoon, but through some potentially heroic last minute efforts he managed to get back online just in time to deploy my last commit and get our finished application up and running.
